Grill Out

Our wonderful friends Ms. Casey and Mr. Randy came over this weekend to grill out.

We had way to much food for 4 (and a quarter) people, but it was scrumptous! And we had a fantastic time as always!

My New Cousin Kensi

Mom, Dad, and I took an airplane to Philadelphia last weekend to meet my new cousin Kensi and visit with Uncle Chris, Aunt B, and Grammy! We had a fabulous time. Extra special thanks to Ms. Billie and Mr. Gary for hosting us!

Grammy and Aunt B know what I like. Chocolate frosted-Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast the first morning!

My beautiful cousin Kensi! I just love her!

 Lenny's cheesesteaks for lunch!

Aunt B and I split a humongous cheesesteak. So tasty!

I also got to go to the zoo and see buffalo for the first time!

No More Booster Seat

Dad says I am ready to sit at the table with out my booster now!

Here is the booster, ready for removal!

Off it comes! Can you believe how big I am getting?

Mother's Day Strawberry Pie

Papa and I made Nana and Mommy a delicious strawberry pie for Mother's Day!

I had some fun making shapes in the crust with the cookie cutters.

Papa and I are experts. It turned out perfectly.

But, of course, the baker gets the first taste.

Delectable!

Aunt Cady and Aunt Audge's Graduation from UK

We all headed up to Lexington to watch Aunt Cady and Aunt Audge graduate from the University of Kentucky! We are so excited for my Aunties!

Pre-graduation dinner at Malone's with the family!

 Yum! Dinner was delicious!

My beautiful Aunties, with their giant flame cake!

Someday I might be a student at UK!

 The graduation weekend crew

Dad and I got to play around on the old Rupp Arena court before graduation!

Grammy and I waiting for Aunt Audge to walk the stage. I did so well being patient through two graduation ceremonies!

Posing with Aunt Cady before her ceremony.

Congratulations, Aunt Cady and Aunt Audge! I am so happy for you both!

Miss Dunwoody

I am practicing for what is sure to be a life of fame and fortune.

I've got a sleek black car, a chauffeur, and my wave to the paparazzi all set.

A Parisian Gift

Mom and Dad went to Paris on an early 10th wedding anniversary trip, while I partied at Nana and Papa's house. They brought me back the most gorgeous gift...

A beautiful box for my jewelry with a tiny dancing ballerina. The ballerina spins around to "Imagine." I love it!

Sidewalk Chalk Makeover

Papa is such a good sport. He let me draw all over his face (and mine) with sidewalk chalk.

We look pretty great. Don't you think?

Nail Polish for my Piggies

The Easter Bunny brought me my own nail polish this year. In pink AND purple! I could not wait to paint my toes!

 Ready for my first pedicure!

Mom putting on the pink polish. Can you see the pure joy on my face?!

Dad was a bit demoralized by this whole concept, but he came around and helped dry my toes with the hair dryer. Don't they look fab?

Easter with Nana and Papa

Pa and Nana joined us to celebrate a belated Easter this year. They (and the Easter Bunny) brought me some wonderful treats!

The Easter Bunny filled my basket with goodies!

Socks...hurray! In pink and purple, my favorite colors!

Time for the Easter egg hunt in the backyard!

 Jackpot! I found one!

 And another...

 And another...who hid these things?

After a delicious dinner by Nana, I got to eat the head of my marshmallow chick! Creepy or delicious? I say, delicious!

Spring Break and Easter with Grammy and Pa

Grammy and Pa came to visit over Spring Break, and we had a grand time. We celebrated Easter and watched our Wildcats make it to the Final Four and the National Championship game!

 Funny bunny!

Funny bunnies! Grammy and I are so silly!

Grammy and Pa brought this really great desk from their house. I love to color at the desk and have a place for all of my crayons in the drawers.

Time to color Easter eggs again!

 The excitement is building...

I love my Dad!

Pa showing me how to use the wax pencil to write on the eggs!

The eggs and dye are ready!

Pa and I are so goofy!

 Let's do this thing!

Pa and I coloring a UK blue egg.

All of the artists, hard at work.

Grammy, Pa, and I love to be silly together!

Grammy and Pa brought me some very special Easter treats!

 Marshmallows! Yum!

And my very first pair of rain boots!

Good thing there just happened to be a huge puddle in the driveway where I could test them.

After the splashing, Dad and Pa hung up our UK flag! Go Cats! We are ready to beat Louisville tonight!

A beautiful morning for more splashing, boot fun with Pa!

I love you, Pa and Grammy!
(We miss you, Pa!)
