Springtime Flowers and Showers

February and March brought warmer weather and the first flowers of spring to Atlanta. It was so nice to go outside and "run and skip and play," as I always say.

Dance Class

Mommy and I went to our first dance class last week at the Atlanta Ballet. I couldn't stop talking about how much I wanted to bourree, bourree. Here are a few pictures of me getting warmed up in my ballet gear.

Sled Time!

Sno-pocalypse

Five inches of snow and freezing rain kept Mom, Dad, and I in our house for three days! While we could not drive anywhere because of the terrible roads, we were able to play and sled in the snow and cuddle in front of the fireplace with hot chocolate! Snuggling with Daddy.

I couldn't believe what had happened while I slept!

Getting geared up.

Dad and I out on the deck.

The snow was fluffy and light the first day, but after the second day of freezing rain, it had a sheat of ice on top. I was too light to crunch through it, so Mom and Dad pulled me around on top like an ice skater!

We had so much fun!

New Year's in the Creek

We made an unplanned trip to Ohio for the New Year! Boy, did we ever surprise Grammy!Pa and I hitting the escalators after dinner at the Greene!

I got to meet Rooney and Alessia for the first time.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year!

White Christmas 2010

It was the first white Christmas in Atlanta in over 100 years! Santa brought me, Mom, and Dad some special treats, then we headed up to Nana and Papa's house to celebrate with family and snuggle inside while the snow fell! Hey, look! Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk we left for him!

Grammy and Pa sent me a play kitchen for Christmas! I was so excited when I saw it that I screamed!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve was a very busy day! We did a lot of preparing for Baby Jesus's birthday and for Santa's visit. Mom and I made beautiful Christmas cookies (with sprinkles) to share with Santa and the rest of our family. Don't worry. They were whole wheat, so no harm done to Santa's cholesterol!

It was a slightly messy process.
