Happy 33rd, Dad!

I love my dad. And I love his birthday too. This year, he turned the big 3-3, and Nana and Papa joined us for a birthday dinner and celebration.

Greeting my favorite guy, my dad of course, with birthday hugs and kisses.

Dad and me, ready to chow down on birthday lasagna.

Mom and I made dad this awesome birthday cake. He is pretty great to let me help blow out his candles.

 Make a wish!

Happy Birthday, Dad! We are so thankful to spend another wonderful year with you!

Summer Swing Time

While Dad and Uncle John were out of town, Aunt Erin and Mom took us cousins to the playground to burn some energy.

We spent most of our time on the swings!

It was a draw on who could swing the highest!

Cooking with Nana

I love cooking with Nana. Recently, we decided to give Mom a break from dinner duty and make some Beefy Bunwiches!

Good thing the bunwiches go in the oven. I love to lick my fingers while I cook.

Getting ready to roll out the bunwiches.

With Nana's help, I make an excellent chef! Bon appetit!

Nash-vegas with Lily Kate and Lauren

Mom and Dad always seem to forget to take pictures when we meet up with the Tatman Family. I guess there is just too much catching up, hanging out, and eating to do!  We had a great time visiting at the Tatman homestead in Nashville.

New Baby Stuff

My family is very excited about the new baby joining us in February.

Nana and Papa brought these tiny little pajamas and a new toy for my future brother or sister. I love to carry around the sleeper to practice holding a baby.

Summer Vacation at the Beach!

We had to wait an eternity for our summer vacation this year. All the way until the end of July! Once the time arrived, Mom, Dad, and I were so excited! We hit Myrtle Beach with the whole Mowbray clan.

Mom and I made it to the beach every day. I L-O-V-E playing in the sand and building castles.

Me, on a water retrieval mission.

Hauling in special sand for my architectural wonder.

My cousins stayed in a condo in the same building that we did. We got to spend so much great time playing together!

Another sandcastle masterpiece...this time Mom showed me the finer points of "droopy castle" creation!

We were run off the beach by rain a few times, but we rallied with shopping and eating! My cousins and me, at Ron Jon Surfshop!

 Rockin', at Barefoot Landing.

All of the kiddos with Nana and Papa before a delicious dinner out.

More sand time on the beach...

I told you, I love the sand!

Dad surprised me with my very own boogie board.

We spent some time on the lazy river...

 And splashing in the pool...

Before heading out to the tide pools to take on some righteous waves.

Dad loved our outing to the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. What do you think I thought of it? Needless to say, I developed a mild fear of crabs by the end of the meal.

The whole Mowbray gang, after stuffing ourselves silly.

Once our bellies were full, we hit the links to burn off some calories.

I made some excellent shots, especially when I picked up the ball with my hands an dropped it directly in the hole.

Dad and I also tested our skills at "trick kite" flying.

Dad was pretty good with the kite...

But I preferred to lounge in the tide pools.

We had a great time in the sun and surf...

 with our family!

And were sad to head home. Adios, North Myrtle Beach. Until next time!

Big News!

Mom and Dad shared some pretty great news with me recently...

I am going to be a big sister! My very own brother or sister is expected February 1st!
